Recent Press--the Zrust Wedding!
If you haven't had the chance to check out the Etsy shop, RockerByeBaby, you're really missing out. She has such unique rocker items for little kids including bedding, clothing, and more. When she recently contacted me about items for her handmade wedding gifts, I immediately wanted to be a part of it and work with her!
Here's the blog post about her handmade wedding bridesmaid gifts, all in a black and white damask color scheme:
In the photo of the items for her bridesmaid bags, those are my thank you cards and damask matchbook albums in the upper right corner. :) AND she mentioned in her blog post that her favorite items were the little black and white damask clothespin clips from my shop. Yay!
I absolutely love working with fellow Etsy sellers and helping others make their special day an unforgettable one.

Custom Packaging
I've been working on custom packaging ideas lately, especially bag toppers and clippie cards for some of my craft show/ trunk show items. I really think that it dresses up the items and gives it a more professional/ polished look. Let me know what you think. I'm debating listing custom hair clippie/ jewelry cards and bag toppers in my Etsy shop as Mompreneur items, too.

Long Time, No See?
So after spending a few days at my parents house, 4 showings in the last week, etc., I realized that I hadn't blogged at all this week. Oops! I decided to take the rest of the week off to catch up on a few custom orders and a few odds and ends around the house. I promise that I'll be back to my normal blogging this next week again. :) AND.....I promise to update my Etsy shop again soon, too. I really do have lots of new items, just need to find the time to take pictures and upload them.

Wordless Wednesday--My Dream Closet
Yep, you read that right-my dream closet. I saw this email Tuesday evening, and I want this closet. I could keep everything at hand, then shut the door instead of cleaning up before company. I think my husband even liked it! More photos and details are posted on the Everything Etsy website at www.everythingetsy.com

Show Me Some Color!
I love decorating with color, and my new coasters are now made with various colors of tile! I have an Etsy Team Columbus teammate that happens to work at a tile store, and all of these tiles were discontinued and saved from the dumpster. I absolutely love the look of the color with the patterns, especially the dark chocolate brown colored tile. So what do you think? Do you like the colored tiles better or the white? Let me know your thoughts please. :)

Friday Favorites to Fix What Ails You
After the EEG test yesterday, my shoulder/ neck/ arm are so sore, and I didn't sleep very well last night. So, today's Friday Favorites will focus on the many wonderful items from ComfyCreations on Etsy. I love this shop! She sells neck wraps, eye pillows, back relief sets, desk supports for your wrist, and even pillows all in beautiful Amy Butler and other designer fabrics! She is a licensed massage therapist who designed her items to use w/ her clients. I could go crazy in this shop--enjoy!

The Good News and Not-So-Good News
A quick update on my carpal tunnel--
I had my EEG test on my wrist/ hand today to check for nerve damage due to the numbness and tingling in my right hand. The good news is that the test came back normal w/ no nerve damage. Yay! The not-so-good news is that they're positive that I have carpal tunnel syndrome since I'm responding well to the brace, had decreased something or other in my right index finger today, and other symptoms. :(
I go back in a few weeks, so keep me in your thoughts that things continue to feel ok.

Another Idea--Sorority/ Fraternity Coasters!
I just searched Etsy and only found 1 listing for sorority/ fraternity ceramic coasters. I think these would be great gifts for friends, alumni, bigs/ littles, secret sis gifts, etc. Any thoughts?
Summer is Half Over Already?
Where did June go? As I realized this weekend that summer is now half over, I've started to think about holiday items, fall/ winter craft shows, etc. I'll keep working on these ideas as I get time and post them in August. I just can't post winter items now. I'd like to enjoy summer a little longer. :)

Friday Favorites--BeeYourselfDesigns!
I just recently discovered fellow EtsySecrets member, beeyourselfdesigns on Etsy, and I love her work! I've been looking online for a laptop bag for awhile now, and I may break down and get one of these beauties. She has them in 13" and 15", as well as mini and custom options. She also has Ipod and cell phone cases and more in Amy Butler and other popular patterns!

Separating From The Pack
There are so many sellers on Etsy now that are selling coasters that I'm really trying to come up with new ideas to separate myself a bit from other sellers. I always try to get great papers that I love and that are different from what others are using, but I think it needs to be more than just that. I really want to be one of those shops that sells a set or two each day, so there will be more options and more relisting to come. I'm also planning more strip/ collage coasters, more coasters that use colored tiles vs. just white tiles, and that's where I get stuck. Does anyone have any great ideas that you'd love to see in ceramic tiles?
Basically anything I could print, I could use on a coaster, so I can do anything personalized. I'd love to hear your ideas! My blog readers always come through for me. :)
