Recent Custom Shabby Chic, Quilt-Inspired Birthday Banner

You may remember that I had a banner giveaway through http://monkeytreecreations.blogspot.com/ a few weeks ago while I was on vacation. The winner had a fabulous quilt photo that showed her favorite colors used together and asked if I could use that as inspiration for the birthday banner. I was happy to oblige, and I love the end result!

Here is the inspiration Vintage Baby quilt:

Here are the banners (Happy Birthday as one, and Lillian as the other):

Not quite as much bright pink, but I think it turned out really cute!

**Apologies for the unedited pictures. I'm still having issues w/ my Kodak Easyshare software.

My 200th Post! Want to win a free banner??

I can't believe this is my 200th blog post and that people are actually reading it still. LOL

To celebrate, I'm sponsoring a giveaway on Monkey Tree Creations, and the winner will get to pick a free birthday or party banner from my shop or have a custom banner created just for them! Giveaway is from 3/30-4/6.

I'm currently working on monkeys and ladybugs, but seriously, the sky's the limit on banners and party supplies. Winner will be contacted after I return from vacation on 4/6.
