After a whirlwind month and a half, I'm wrapping up the Heartsy deal. All vouchers must be used by Nov. 1st, so I'm finishing up current orders and getting the last of those Heartsy orders coming in. I finally feel like I'm seeing the light and able to get caught up. I have 2 craft shows in November to prepare for, as well as getting the online shops ready for holiday orders.
Back to normal blogging this week!

Granville Maker's Market Today
If you're local to the central Ohio area, you really should make it a day and drive to Granville. Every Saturday is the local farmer's market and Maker's Market, and I'm planning to be a part of the Maker's Market as many Saturdays as I can over the summer. I'll be there from 9-1 today, and I'd love to see you!

Two Craft Shows in Less Than 1 Week
I normally only do a few craft shows each year, and yet, I'm now doing 2 craft shows in less than 7 days. Yikes! I feel like my custom orders are falling behind, nothing new listed on Etsy or Artfire, less blog posts, etc. I truly don't know how people keep up the routine of shows every weekend. I'm frazzled!
Wish me luck. I will admit that the extra cash is nice. :)

Mommy's Helper
Some of you may remember that my daughter stopped taking naps about a month ago. She sleeps much better at night, but there are no uninterrupted breaks for Mommy during the day to work now. Since she's almost 3, she wants to be Mommy's Helper all day every day. Everything I do, she wants to do, which really slows down my progress. Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad that she loves "arts and crafts" time.
As I'm cramming for tomorrow's craft show, she stole my cork for the back of the coasters and set up a "park" of "slides and bridges" for her friends. LOL

New Rag Wreaths!
I haven't decided yet if I'm going to list these in my Etsy and Artfire shops yet, but I'll definitely take custom orders. Here's a couple of quick shots of one I made for the holiday season. Just need to finish off the top still and get it ready to hang. Little S has already made a request for a pink/ brown one for her bedroom. LOL
Let me know what you think!

Looking For Me Locally?
Over the next few weeks, I'll be at the Church of the Redeemer Christmas Market on November 7th in Reynoldsburg, OH and the Mettler-Toledo United Way Holiday Shopping Event on November 13th near Polaris. My work is consigned at the Circa Circus shop at the Pink Moon Cupcake Bakery in Powell, Ohio.
I'm hoping to get in a show in Granville, Ohio in early December, so I'll keep you posted.

Custom Packaging

I've been working on custom packaging ideas lately, especially bag toppers and clippie cards for some of my craft show/ trunk show items. I really think that it dresses up the items and gives it a more professional/ polished look. Let me know what you think. I'm debating listing custom hair clippie/ jewelry cards and bag toppers in my Etsy shop as Mompreneur items, too.
